CARD Nasturtiums and Huckleberries in a Shell Vase

This painting was inspired by an overabundance of nasturtiums and some new varieties in my garden. I put together a posy for our cabin. The mix of structured huckleberry branches supports the vining nasturtiums well. The simple invented vase pattern was inspired by the delicate periwinkles we see on walks along the nearby beach.
